In the previous post I spoke about the appeal of wood decorative pieces. A few days ago I came across a set of three wood trays. After some research, I discovered these were originally sold as a set of four. However I purchased them for $3.99, and am content with just three.
I think the blond wood is just perfect for a summer accent to any table. These trays are light weight too, adding to the ease of summer entertaining. The round, silver-tone corners are a nice detail.
These trays were made in Japan. The finish is great, and clean-up seems to be easy to do with a damp cloth. Each tray is solid with no weakness in construction. Had they felt loose at all, I would have passed them by. Function is important as I plan to deliver summer drinks and food to the porch table.
Note: My local thrift often wraps or bundles sets of dish ware together. Don’t be afraid to unwrap items you find so that you can look each piece over individually. Most store will assist you in this to be sure you are happy with your purchase.
